"Through
Your Eyes" was featured on the 2006 NBC show StarTomorrow,
a music competition show with successful songwriter/producer
David Foster. "This was one experience in particular
that I will always remember. It was the audition for the show with
David Foster that was aired on NBC. I had written a song after the
birth of my first son called "Through Your Eyes" and I
performed it acoustically for Mr. Foster on the show, which was
filmed in NYC. He ended up really digging the song and sat down
at the piano to play along with me. That was amazing ... not only
to hear the song played beautifully on the piano, but to also jam
a little with David Foster. Even though the show itself was a flop,
it meant a great deal to me as a songwriter to hear an accomplished
and successful songwriter/producer like David Foster say that he
genuinely liked the song and that it stood out to him." -
